Mmm. Dinner.

I just made the BEST pot of spaghetti sauce:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • One onion chopped up
  • Three cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 big can of tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 zucchini chopped up
  • 1 package of pre-sliced cremini mushrooms
  • a couple tablespoons of Italian herbs
  • dash of salt and dash of pepper

I let it simmer for 1/2 hour while my pasta cooked and YUM!! Super tasty, and there are ample leftovers for a few meals 🙂 Just what I like! (TIP: instead of sauteeing the onion and garlic in oil, I used water instead. Much healthier!)

For dessert (don’t judge me) I had a couple tablespoons of brown sugar. I needed a sugar fix and had nothing in the house to satisfy it! It did the trick!
